Established on October 18th, 2014, at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Tanjungpura, Justitia Club is an academic organization that focuses on advancing knowledge and skills in the field of law. The organization was founded to provide a platform for law students who possess a strong interest and talent in legal studies, while simultaneously contributing to the realization of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, which encompasses education, research, and community service. Rooted in the values of Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, and relevant higher education regulations, Justitia Club positions itself as a forum to cultivate intellectual growth, critical awareness, and academic excellence. Through its programs and initiatives, the organization not only encourages students to actively engage with contemporary legal, political, and social issues, but also promotes creativity, collaboration, and integration among students, as well as fostering meaningful connections with the wider society.
In carrying out its mission, Justitia Club operates through a structured leadership system consisting of a General Chairperson, General Secretary, and General Treasurer, supported by five functional divisions. These divisions include the Human Resource Development Division, which focuses on capacity building and member professionalism; the Research and Development Division, which conducts studies, research, and organizational development planning; the Communication and Information Division, which manages internal and external communication as well as media outreach; the Legal Studies Development Division, which organizes academic activities such as debates, legal opinion drafting, and contract drafting; and the Entrepreneurship Division, which is responsible for generating initiatives that sustain the organization financially and practically. Each division has its own duties and responsibilities, working collaboratively to ensure the effective implementation of the club’s vision and mission. With its comprehensive structure, diverse programs, and commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals, Justitia Club continues to play a vital role in shaping Universitas Tanjungpura law students into competent, ethical, and competitive future legal professionals.
