Midterm Exam & Final Exam
••Requirements for Participating in Midterm/Final Examinations
- The semester exam for a course can only be conducted if:
• The midterm exam has already been administered.
• The course instructor has conducted at least 75% of the scheduled lectures. - Students are allowed to participate in the semester exam if they:
• Have taken the midterm exam.
• Have attended at least 75% of the effective lectures scheduled for the course. - Students who miss the midterm and final exams without valid reasons will not be given permission to take make-up exams.
- Students who are unable to attend the semester exam must submit a written request accompanied by the current Academic Year Study Plan Sheet (LIRS) approved and signed by their Academic Advisor (PA) to the Dean via the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs within a maximum of 14 days from the end date of the midterm (UTS) or final exam (UAS) schedule.
- Make-up exams can only be recommended by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs for the following valid reasons:
• The student submits a medical certificate if they are sick or undergoing inpatient/outpatient treatment.
• A close family member (parent, sibling, grandfather, and/or grandmother) has experienced a disaster or passed away, supported by an official letter from the local neighborhood head (RT).
• The student is appointed as a representative for the faculty or university in an official event, proven by an official Assignment Letter from authorized officials.
• The student is assigned and instructed to participate in activities from government agencies, institutions, organizations, or companies, evidenced by an official Assignment/Appointment Letter from authorized officials. The letter must not exceed 30 calendar days within the Academic Calendar. - Make-up exams can only be conducted by the course instructor after receiving a recommendation letter from the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs.
- Make-up exams must be conducted within the Law Study Program at FH Untan, with the scheduling authority delegated to the course instructor, and must adhere to the Untan Academic Calendar, as follows:
• Make-up midterm exams must be held no later than the final exam period.
• Make-up final exams must be held no later than the registration/re-enrollment period for the following semester.
