About the Bachelor of Law Program

The Bachelor of Law Program at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Tanjungpura, is one of the leading undergraduate programs in Indonesia focusing on legal education and scholarly development. It aims to prepare students to become competent legal professionals, public servants, researchers, and community leaders with integrity and global insight.

The curriculum is designed based on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) and the National Higher Education Standards (SN-Dikti), integrating theory, practice, and ethics to support excellence in the field of law.

The program emphasizes the development of analytical, critical, and ethical reasoning skills, enabling graduates to understand, interpret, and apply law dynamically in various contexts — local, national, and international.

Through dedicated faculty members, innovative learning methods, and collaborations with institutions and legal communities, the program continues to strengthen its academic excellence and contribution to the advancement of legal education in Indonesia.

BACHELOR PROGRAM IN LAW

The Study Program is an integrated academic unit that organizes education and learning through a specific curriculum and teaching methodology within a professional or academic field, directly accountable to the Dean of the Faculty.

The Regular Bachelor Program (S1) at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Tanjungpura, is a full-time program consisting of morning and evening classes under the same curriculum, differing only in lecture schedules.

The Bachelor of Law Program is implemented under the Higher Education Curriculum, referring to the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) and the National Higher Education Standards (SN-Dikti).

Students may develop specific interests through concentration areas provided by the Faculty, with all courses designed by specialized academic divisions:

Nationally, the Bachelor of Law Program is accredited “A” by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT).

International Accreditation

Internationally, the Bachelor of Law Program of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Tanjungpura, has been evaluated and declared in compliance with global academic quality standards.

Learning System

Undergraduate Curriculum (S1)

The curriculum is structured for a maximum study duration of 14 semesters, including academic leave. The credit allocation is as follows:

  • University Compulsory Courses: 9 credits;
  • Cluster Core Courses: 2 credits;
  • Faculty Core Courses (Kurin): 62 credits;
  • Legal Practice (PLKH): 9 credits;
  • Specialization Courses: ... credits;
  • Elective Courses: Offered 50 credits, minimum required 10 credits.
